Role description
Spacecubed is on the lookout for a gun Entrepreneur in Residence to take the lead in driving growth and engagement between West Australian startups, mentors and corporate partners.
This role will see you empower up to 20 founders in a new program to be launched soon to make strong companies that can stand on the world stage. Your experience starting, mentoring and investing in tech companies will be tested and significantly expanded as you coach these founders.
About you
This is not your traditional VC or corporate entrepreneur-in-residence role. As Spacecubed EiR you will be head coach and need to simultaneously lead and grow the local ecosystem of investors and mentors to get behind and support the in-program teams, whilst also performing the role of program director and developing key industry partnerships.
As head coach, you will need to consolidate and use your existing knowhow as a seasoned mentor, investor and startup founder to select, coach and accelerate the growth of up to 10 high potential companies, all striving to solve problems on a global scale. Each founder, team and cohort brings its own challenges so your passion must extend beyond simply growing businesses to growing better entrepreneurs.
Finally, as the first dedicated Spacecubed EIR, you will get the unique opportunity to drive the differentiation of the program, ensuring that it builds on the existing ecosystem by adding exponential value.

Responsibilities
- Have lead responsibility to design, deliver and execute an accelerator program.
- Lead and manage the promotion of programs
- Coordinate with new and existing stakeholders
- Lead and manage the selection process of high growth potential tech startups
- Support the growth of companies in the accelerator program, by assisting early stage companies in developing business strategies, skills, resources, and connections
- Perform outreach and networking to drive awareness of the teams and program
- Facilitate connection of startup companies to support resources and customers
- Mentor inexperienced entrepreneurs in key start up activities related to team formation, strategic marketing, business development, strategic partnering, business development and fundraising
- Attract, manage and integrate experienced mentors and investors into the program
