After an intense eight weeks of structured learning, weekly mentorship, and strategic business development, we’re thrilled to announce the eight startups selected to move into Phase Two of the 2025 Plus Eight Accelerator, securing their share of $700,000 in seed-funding and preparing for an international immersion trip to Austin, Texas, in September, ahead of our flagship Demo Night (express your interest in attending here!).

These standout founders have demonstrated unwavering commitment, and growth as they pivoted and refined their business models throughout Phase One. With support from our team, Program Lead, Juliette Lucas, A/CEO, Ophelie Cutier and Entrepreneur in Residence, Dr Marcus Tan, and our network of mentors, investors, and alumni, these teams are now equipped to accelerate their growth, sharpen their strategies, and scale their impact.

Meet the startups entering Phase Two:

Einsen Innovations | Founder: Josselin Charpenay
Einsen is bringing smart-home automation to the laundry room with the world’s first fully automated ironing device.

GenLearn | Founders: Sarah Mateljan, Vincent Mateljan, and Lee Goldsworthy
GenLearn empowers course creators to embed AI-led, conversational learning into their content, transforming static online training into engaging, structured, and measurable experiences.

THF Engineered Solutions | Founder: Christopher Smith
THF is creating advanced software tools for the energy sector, helping engineers surface critical information faster, automate complex workflows, and reduce operational risk.

GlowDry | Founder: Fiona Dunne
GlowDry has developed a self-tan setting powder that instantly dries and sets fake tan, removing the hassle from tanning routines.

Sharing her experience so far, Fiona stated, “Since joining the program earlier this year, I’ve grown a lot personally, and I’m incredibly proud to have made it into Phase Two. Now, I’m focused on growth marketing, scaling the brand, and making the most of this next stage, especially with the upcoming immersion trip to Austin and the opportunity to pitch at Demo Night in October.”

The Khüsh Place | Founders: Amy Andrews and Heidi Andrews
Inspired by their own experiences with hormone health, The Khüsh Place offers a holistic, evidence-based supplement targeting symptoms of PCOS, PMS, and hormonal imbalance.

Relait | Founders: Martin McGinty and Jason Paizes
Relait is an AI-powered investor engagement platform that helps ASX-listed companies streamline how they manage updates, track investor engagement, and maintain transparency.

Law Captain | Founders: Nicholas Marouchak and Jayden Collier
Initially built as a tool for legal document drafting and research, Law Captain made a bold pivot mid-program, launching Australia’s first AI-powered law firm designed to deliver affordable, consumer-focused legal services.

Discussing his experience through the program, Nicholas shared, “Plus Eight pushed us to move faster than we were comfortable with - selling before we felt ready turned out to be the best thing we could’ve done."

“Being accepted into Phase Two is a huge milestone. The structure, mentorship and momentum of Plus Eight have helped us get here, and we’re excited to launch and refine our end-to-end AI legal workflow in time for Demo Night.” He added.

InPsync | Founders: Ebony Kreidemann and Morgan Becker
InPsync is a therapy matchmaking platform that pairs clients with therapists based on personality type and attachment style.

What’s next for these nine startups? As they enter the second half of the Accelerator, the coming months will see them participate in intensive mentoring and coaching, scale their growth strategies with fresh capital, and travel to Austin, Texas, for an international immersion in one of the world’s most dynamic innovation ecosystems. Their journey will culminate at Demo Night, our flagship startup event, where each founder will take the stage to pitch their company to the broader ecosystem in pursuit of follow-on investment.

We’re proud to deliver the Plus Eight Accelerator with the support of our program partners, BetterLabs, the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification, Kaizen West, Hawaiian, CFC Group, K&L Gates and DFK Gooding Partners.

Demo Night is happening on Monday, October 13 in Perth, and you won’t want to miss it. Register your interest now here to be the first to know when tickets go live!
