Perth Landing Pad participants forge meaningful connections with WA-based businesses through local events

Perth Landing Pad is designed for established enterprises, SMEs and scale-ups interested in entering the lucrative WA market. Through a blend of in-person and virtual immersion experiences, participants gain access to an array of invaluable resources, including 90 day coworking in Perth CBD, access to business boosted events, mentorship from WA-based experts, an online resources hub and targeted connections with local businesses to facilitate meaningful partnerships.

Recently, Perth Landing Pad participants, John Hall and Lavin Yeung hosted their own events to showcase their business and create meaningful connections with local businesses. On April 2nd, the official launch party for The Maintain App, led by Founder John Hall took place to unveil their groundbreaking property management solution.

The Maintain App is rewriting the rules of property upkeep, offering a hassle-free tool that simplifies property management for landlords and tenants alike. Attendees had the exclusive opportunity to witness firsthand how The Maintain App is revolutionising property upkeep, setting the stage for future collaborations and growth opportunities.

When asked what his favourite highlights were from the launch event, John shared the following.

“My absolute highlight was the amount of people that came, and the supportive vibe that just keeps astounding me. Being new to Australia it's so amazing to have found myself surrounded by such a great and diverse group of people.”

Sharing how the app is set to make a significant impact on the local market, John shared, “the Maintain App is set to build relationships between the construction industry and property owners. We want to support tradies in sustaining a regular hassle free income from offering property maintenance service whilst giving property owners the easiest way of managing their property tasks.

On April 3rd, Lavin Yeung, Head of Business Development and Marketing of ESG Matters held their event at Riff, powered by Spacecubed, with the aim to facilitate a thought-provoking discussion on environmental, social, and governance practices.

ESG Matters provides green fintech solutions for companies to build their data and analytics capabilities with the aim to convert ESG data into actionable outcomes. Through their event, they were able to bring together a diverse audience, including SMEs, startups, government agencies, NGOs, and educational institutions, to discuss the importance of sustainable business practices in today's ever-evolving landscape. Through insightful panel discussions and engaging networking sessions, participants gained valuable insights and forged meaningful connections that have the potential to drive positive change within the community.

When asked about the event, Lavin shared, “Perth Landing Pad has provided an invaluable platform for us to connect with the local community, exchange insights, and learn collaboratively. This event has been fundamental in integrating ourselves into the community and has opened doors to meaningful discussions and potential partnerships.”

“Following the event, we've been able to schedule meetings with community members interested in how our services can aid in achieving their sustainability objectives, showcasing the event's role in fostering business opportunities.”
