Just like many businesses, the higher education sector, and universities around the world were drastically impacted by COVID-19, and forced to find new ways to connect and collaborate in an online world. Through these challenges, Murdoch University saw an opportunity to deliver on their vision in a new, and future-focused way.

With this, they unveiled a bold, new visual identity that signifies to current and future students that Murdoch University is modern, flexible and future-focused. In an article released by Murdoch University following the unveiling, Chancellor, Gary Smith shared that Murdoch has always embraced new ways of thinking.

“We are a university of free thinkers,” he shared. “It is the foundation of everything we do, and our updated branding epitomises this. This program builds upon Murdoch’s existing brand with an updated identity that reflects Murdoch as a modern university for the future.”

The way that the higher education sector was challenged during the pandemic, Murdoch University included, allowed them to take an agile approach to the future of work, much like the team here at Spacecubed. These shared visions for the future, have allowed us to forge a stronger partnership, as we work together to deliver on a new goal, preparing students for new jobs for the future.

“Over the last year, we’ve worked with a range of industry, corporate and startup businesses to activate the CBD space with events, programs, meetings and workshops.” Project Lead, Amilia Bakhtiar shared. “From fostering a supportive environment for Global Jams to tackle climate issues, to working with She Codes to increase diversity in the STEM industry, the Murdoch CBD space, in partnership with Spacecubed, has seen people from all walks of life.”
