In the lead up to TechTalks next panel discussion, discussing the future of health tech, we’ve put together a list of Perth startups who are ticking all the boxes in this ever-changing industry.

Curve Tomorrow

With a mission to impact the lives of 1 billion people around the world with digital health technology, Curve Tomorrow work with industry leading organisations, clinicians and researchers to create the future of healthcare. Founded in 2009 and led by a range of experts across the world, this team has been making waves in the industry for over a decade. 

Mohinder Jaimangal, founder and director, started his journey at The University of Melbourne, studying mechatronics, where he then went through an array of roles before realising that there were two driving factors that would influence the direction of his career. Both doing work that contributed a positive social impact, and appreciating the value of working with good friends, which is where he founded Bliss, a luxury chocolate brand in India, before going on to create Curve Tomorrow. 

Alerte Digital Health

With a passion for solving problems and creating positive change, Alerte Digital Health was formed in 2016 by co-founder Razali Mohamad to address rising healthcare costs and to find a way to better utilise the overwhelming amounts of medical data doctors received. Driven by technology and alongside world leading cardiologists, and leading healthcare providers, Alerte continues to grow as a company in order to create positive change in healthcare through AI for people everywhere.

HealthEngine

As Australia’s largest patient network, HealthEngine designed a seamless process where patients can connect with practices online, at their convenience. The team are committed to transforming the way patients access health care, by making it easier for patients and practices to connect, improving the overall healthcare journey of their patients.

Founder, CEO and Medical Director, Marcus Tan, established the business in 2006, recognising an ability for digital technology to enhance the relationship between patient and provider. With an insight as a practicing GP, Marcus is able to use his passion in the industry to deliver innovative products to a wider community.

Surgical Realities 

In collaboration with medical specialists, hospitals and device manufacturers, Surgical Realities develop evidence based virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) content for application into the healthcare industry, ranging from surgical training through to patient care.

BetterCells

BetterCells is an online hub that connects Functional and Integrated Medical Practitioners with individuals looking to improve health and wellness, resolve health problems and/or prevent chronic illness.
