# Groundbreaking at FLUX

By Spacecubed 23 August 2018

Chief Scientist of Western Australia, Professor Peter Klinken – an advocate of turning Perth into a centre for innovation and creativity – gave a warm and inspiring welcome to country, highlighting the importance of FLUX in driving future generations of entrepreneurship.

Our other guests included WA Minister for Finance; Mines & Petroleum Bill Marmion, Liberal Senator Linda Reynolds and Matt Taylor MLA, who took part in virtual tours of FLUX for the very first time.

Augmented reality is playing a significant and fun role in showcasing our tailored spaces.

With the growing demand of this technology, we are helping WA innovators realise how they can develop game-changing products and services in tailored maker spaces, collaborative environments and fluid and adaptable creative offices

We're already 20% full and excited to be supporting WA companies and startups to connect, develop, engage and grow their new venture and take part in the national #ideasboom.

To experience this ground-breaking venture in the new year, [book your pre-build virtual tour now.](http://www.fluxperth.com/)
