This week's candidate is Phil Mosley of My Pro Coach, who joined our community in December 2016 when he moved to Perth from the UK. In addition to being a passionate triathlon coach and running a successful online business, he is currently running free group LunchFit sessions for our members every Tuesday. Find out more below!

What ideas are you working on at the moment?
Over the last 18 months I have created 150+ online training plans for triathlons, marathons and cycling events. I now sell around 300 per month all over the world. I'm currently in the process of improving my products and adding more.

What do you love most about the Spacecubed community?
I love chatting to other people who also work for themselves, about the challenges we face creating and running our own businesses. I also pick up lots of great tips and ideas for doing things in a more effective way, which I'd never get by sitting behind my computer at home.

How did your startup/coworking journey begin?
I used to work as the Editor of a triathlon magazine in the UK. It helped raise my profile to the point where some of our readers started approaching me to ask if I'd coach them. Before long, I was earning as much money from coaching as I was from working at the magazine. Later I quit the magazine and started coaching triathletes, cyclists and runners full time, plus some magazine work on the side.

Who would you like to connect with most?
I've met lots of great people at Spacecubed. I connect particularly well with other entrepreneurs because I like the way they strive to create the life they want, rather than relying on chance. I think the staff are awesome too. I guess I'd like to connect with more people at Flux too.

Can you share with us a success story you've achieved during your time at Spacecubed/Flux?
A couple of months ago I got in contact with one of the mentors who's photo and biography was in a frame in the kitchen at Spacecubed. When I contacted him he had recently floated his previous business on the stock exchange and was in the process of stepping down from the board. We're now hoping to form a partnership, along with his marketing manager, to grow and promote my online training business to a wider audience. There's no way I would be in this position without Spacecubed.

What do you hope to achieve in 2017?
I hope to continually grow the sales of my training plans. I also plan to start writing Amazon eBooks about triathlon training with the aim of increasing my profile as a coach.
