1. How did your startup/business journey begin?
My journey with business began last year in 2019. Businesses were suffering and I decided to offer some free help with Social Media Management. From there I gained experience and knowledge and opened up into Web Design as well. Since then, I have consistently worked on improving my skills within these fields to be able to better help more businesses, in what has been a tough few years.
2. What are you working on at the moment?
At the moment I am working on developing different social media strategies to help specific industries. That way I can provide more in-depth social targeting, depending on the business' target market, and what they offer. I also run a non-for-profit charity, which supports those living with Motor Neurone Disease by selling streetwear, such as T-shirts, hats etc. That is something I am always working on, allowing myself to find better ways to fundraise, as well as better our products and designs.
3. What do you love about being a part of the Spacecubed community?
Being a part of the community allows you to connect with other individuals, going through the same steps of business as you. Being able to directly connect with those individuals is invaluable, and allows you to create relationships that can help both theirs, and your business. Having access to mentors and office space is amazing. Having easy contact with business leaders is so important, especially for me being young, as I believe mentors are integral to my business growth and knowledge.
4. Can you share with us one of your favourite success stories?
I would have to say that my favourite success story is that of Elon Musk. He is my motivation and business hero, and seeing how he began, to where he is now, makes me believe that anything is possible as long as you put in the work, and have the dedication to make things happen.
5. What do you hope to achieve in 2020?
In 2020, I hope to take my charity and business to the next level. I would like to use this year as a way of learning and adapting to the ever changing business environment. Setting myself a goal of learning as much as possible, whilst utilising that knowledge to help other companies to break out of what is looking to be another tough year of business.
