The Perth Landing Pad Program stands as an invaluable gateway for high-growth international startups and scaleups seeking to scale their operations into Western Australia. The program provides startups with access to exclusive online resources, collaborative coworking spaces, tailored events, and personalised mentorship, providing an unparalleled platform for expansion and accelerated growth in the vibrant WA market.

Talent Basket, an Indian-based firm is a participant of the Perth Landing Pad program. They specialise in Human Resource Training and Recruitment, with their primary focus revolving around sourcing and onboarding top-tier talents while empowering them to leverage their skills and creativity to bolster the organisations they engage with. Looking forward to expanding their horizons, the company is excited to bring their unique approach of talent management to Western Australia, aiming to make a lasting impact on the regional professional landscape.

Talent Basket’s inception as a business is the result of over 15 years of industry experience by Founder, Nazim Y F, complemented by Co-Founder, Chithra Salin's extensive 12 years years experience in client management and marketing.

The idea to establish Talent Basket took place during their tenure at Monster.com, where their combined expertise became the driving force behind this innovative venture.

In December 2019, Nazim and Chithra officially launched Talent Basket, bringing together a wealth of industry knowledge and a shared vision for transforming the recruitment landscape. Just two months into this joint endeavour, the COVID-19 pandemic emerged, presenting an unexpected challenge.

Instead of being disheartened, they recognised an opportunity within the crisis, being the surge in demand for remote work. Swiftly adapting, Talent Basket strategically positioned itself to meet the growing need for remote staffing solutions in the Indian market.

The journey, marked by joint leadership, witnessed mass growth. From a humble team of two employees, Talent Basket has evolved into a workforce of 15 dedicated professionals, complemented by additional contract employees, and is continuing to grow.

When asked what Talent Basket hopes to achieve from the Perth Landing Pad Program, Chithra shared, “we aim to leverage the program to establish valuable connections, gain insights into the local market, and foster collaborations that contribute to Talent Basket's growth in Western Australia.”

“Expanding into Western Australia is a strategic move to tap into the region's diverse talent pool. We're excited about the prospects of offering our services in this vibrant market.” She added.

Currently, Talent Basket are preparing to launch their operations in Australia.

“We are eagerly anticipating the exploration of various opportunities that the country may present to us. Our adaptability and readiness to tailor our business model to the specific needs of the Australian market will be a crucial aspect of our strategy.”

"We are enthusiastic about the prospect of entering the Australian market and are open to adapting our approach based on the unique dynamics and requirements of the region. Our commitment to providing top-notch staffing solutions remains unwavering, and we look forward to the exciting challenges and opportunities that Australia holds for Talent Basket.” Chithra concluded.
