JOB TITLE: Spaces and Events Host

JOB TYPE: Full-Time 

SALARY: 50k - 60k + Super + Incentives


SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: Operations Manager


The Space and Events Coordinator is the go-to person for the community and is in charge of opening and closing the space each day, welcoming members, managing the host desk and phone as well as office duties such as keeping the space organised. The position also involves assisting in the setting up and running of events in our spaces.

The Spaces and Event Host requires flexibility and initiative to be able to host all Spacecubed spaces and events in Perth CBD with the flexibility to work out of hours events if required. 

This role will help to deliver top notch customer experiences by learning the ins and outs of our community, providing a warm welcome at our host desks and at events, directing phone and web enquiries, maintaining the spaces throughout the day and supporting the team with member administration.


Overall Responsibilities

Space Management

  • Responsible for Managing the space
    • Greeting and directing visitors
    • Directing enquiries and troubleshooting member issues
    • Opening and closing spaces and rostering cover when required
    • Receiving and distributing mail
    • Working with housekeeping and facilities management to maintain the spaces
    • Assist guests and members with meeting room bookings and set ups
    • Walkthroughs of the spaces to maintain the presentation of kitchens, meeting rooms and break out areas.
    • Liaise with community manager to report any issues related to Building Management, Facilities, IT and external contractors or ordering in the space
    • Provision access to new members and visitors through work requests, allocation of swipe cards and keys and maintaining all-access documentation and deposits
    • Give tours of the space to visitors and potential members if required
  • Managing phone and chat system
    • Assisting callers with general information and troubleshooting
    • Directing relevant enquiries to other team members
    • Checking voicemails and returning calls
    • Assisting with covering Live Chat conversations when required

Community Building

  • A great networker and you are proactively connecting members with other members
  • Onboarding members if required

Events coordination

  • Follow up inbound enquiries (Tour, proposal, quotes)
  • Ensure data is accurate in Spacecubed CRM
  • Supervise casual staff
  • Monitor events budgets and meet monthly target


  • KPIs surrounding customer service and event feedback, space maintenance and community building.
