Uncover How Carole Issa is Building Confident, Values-Led Leaders at WSSH

Written by Spacecubed | Feb 27, 2026 5:23:39 AM

We’re proud to spotlight Carole Issa, founder of Leadership Activators, a purpose-driven business based at the Western Sydney Startup Hub, powered by Spacecubed, dedicated to helping business owners, managers and executives step more confidently into their leadership.

Carole’s journey into leadership wasn’t conventional. She is a former sound engineer, and she was determined to pursue her ambitions and make things happen on her own terms. That drive now fuels her work with high achievers — the quiet powerhouses behind the scenes who are ready to step into the spotlight, define success for themselves, and expand their influence.

Through Leadership Activators, Carole works with leaders who are exceptional at what they do but don’t always feel confident fully owning their authority. Her approach focuses on self-leadership, communication and strengthening inner authority, helping clients move from surface-level management to leading with clarity, alignment and impact.

Beyond the one-on-one work, Carole shares her expertise on leadership, emotional intelligence, communication and entrepreneurship through talks delivered both domestically and internationally. She also hosts the Leadership Activators podcast, created with a simple but powerful mission: to help listeners discover the one idea that could create meaningful change in their lives.

At the heart of her work is the belief that being an “Activator” is not just about achievement — it’s about attitude.

“With the Leadership Activators movement, we believe that being an Activator isn’t just about high achievement. It’s about carving your own path, showing up where most people won’t, and walking the extra mile even if it’s empty. Being an Activator means believing it’s up to you to define your mission, commit to making it happen, and bring others along who are just as committed to making a difference," Carole shared.

Currently, Carole is focused on shaping a new blueprint for leadership — one that feels more honest, grounded and responsive to the evolving world around us. Her work explores how leaders can reconnect with their inner compass so confidence and influence come from alignment rather than performance.

Looking ahead 10 years, Carole sees herself continuing this work with even greater depth, refining a values-led approach to leadership and expanding her impact to those who influence future generations — particularly individuals shaping and guiding children.

For Carole, being part of the Western Sydney Startup Hub is about more than having a workspace.

“I value real community — thoughtful conversations with people I respect and a place where values matter. Being connected to Western Sydney is important to me, and I see WSSH as a place where meaningful work and real relationships can grow together.”

Her ideal referral partners? Business owners, managers and executives navigating growth, responsibility and people dynamics — particularly those who recognise themselves in the challenges she speaks about.
