We’re thrilled to announce that 10 outstanding supporters of WA’s innovation ecosystem will be sponsored to join the West Tech Fest x SWITCH Singapore Mission, taking place from October 26 – 31, 2025.
Supported by Meshpoints and enabled by the Perth Landing Pad, this mission is delivered in partnership with West Tech Fest, the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation, and SWITCH. It offers a powerful opportunity to deepen connections between Western Australia’s innovation ecosystem and Singapore, one of Asia’s most dynamic hubs for entrepreneurship, technology, and global investment.
Singapore is where innovation and opportunity collide. As a global leader in deep tech, venture capital, and startup development, it’s home to world-class accelerators, innovation precincts, and emerging tech talent. Through SWITCH (Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology), the region brings together changemakers across health, climate, manufacturing, digital tech, and more, making it the perfect stage to showcase WA’s entrepreneurial strengths.
In addition to this Meshpoints-supported ecosystem delegation, West Tech Fest is separately coordinating an application for 10 startup founders to also attend SWITCH as part of the broader WA delegation. With additional stakeholders likely to join, the total WA presence is expected to exceed 20 delegates, creating even more opportunities to showcase our local innovation talent and build valuable international connections.
What the selected delegates will experience
- A fully funded pass to attend SWITCH 2025 from October 29 – 31
- Curated meetings with Singaporean founders, investors, and innovation enablers
- Exclusive networking events and ecosystem immersions
- Guided visits to hubs like One-North, Block 71, and more
- Roundtable discussions on regional innovation trends and market opportunities
- Global exposure and new insights to bring back to WA
While Spacecubed will cover SWITCH event tickets for innovation ecosystem supporters and a supported experience across the program, selected participants will need to arrange their own flights and accommodation.
As a collaborative network powered by Spacecubed and funded by Lotterywest, Meshpoints exists to strengthen WA’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Through events, funding, and community-led programs, we support the people and organisations driving positive change across the state.
This mission offers a unique opportunity for WA’s ecosystem leaders to build meaningful partnerships in Asia and bring home valuable new insights. We’re especially excited to hear from those working in innovation, entrepreneurship, impact, investment, and regional development, with a strong focus on supporting diverse voices from regional WA, First Nations communities, and women in innovation.
