While this space has been powered by Spacecubed since it’s inception, our team is now coming on board to connect the community, bringing with us a series of great events, networking opportunities and programs, enabling residents in the northern suburbs to have access to innovation in Western Australia by taking ideas to market more quickly.
As a Yanchep Beach Joint Venture (YBJV) initiative, this coworking space homes a range of exciting projects and opportunities, for not just their members, but for the wider community. Including being the local meetup spaces for a local honey bee product innovation group, coordinated by the Cooperative Research Centre for Honey Bee Products (CRCHBP), the space where the second annual CRCHBP Honey Hackathon was hosted and outreach services by community organisations are held.
In addition to the coworking space, YBJV is home to Yanchep Institute, a specialised registered training organisation (RTO). With a focus to serve the community by forging strong, positive connections with schools, families, local businesses and industry partners, Yanchep Institute offers relevant learning opportunities for students, responds to the needs of employers, and provides modern, state-of the art, safe training facilities. Their current courses include Foundation Skills, White Card, and Introduction to Beekeeping.
With Spacecubed coming on board, we aim to facilitate stronger connections with industry, government and business, offer alternative learning opportunities, and foster innovation through new activations and learning experiences.
