The Perth Landing Pad program is a gateway for high-growth international and interstate startups and scale-ups looking to establish themselves in Western Australia. Supported by the City of Perth and the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation, this program provides participants with a robust foundation to explore and expand their operations into the APAC region.
Perth Landing Pad offers a wealth of resources tailored to support the growth journey of innovative companies. Participants gain access to expert mentorship, one-on-one sessions with seasoned business leaders, and targeted connections with local businesses. The program also includes an online hub of curated resources, business-boosting events, and guidance on navigating the WA market, helping founders create a roadmap for long-term success.
We’re excited to welcome Innova8s to the program, a pioneering AgTech startup building customised mobile applications and bespoke solutions leveraging IoT sensors, drone technology, CCTV camera and AI-driven insights dashboards, to empower farmers with real-time data and advanced analytical insights and predictions. We recently caught up with the team to learn more about their mission, expansion into Western Australia, and what they hope to achieve through the Perth Landing Pad.
Innova8s was founded with a clear mission to revolutionise farming through cutting-edge technology. Inspired by a family history in agriculture, the founder, Sashiko Dayani, saw firsthand the challenges farmers face, including lack of health monitor facility, high operational costs and the lack of sustainable solutions.
“The company was born from a deep passion for ensuring that farmers can sustain and thrive in today’s ever-evolving agricultural landscape,” Innova8s founder, Sashiko Dayani shared.
To address challenges like manual health monitoring and high operational costs, Innova8s has developed a customised mobile app and web dashboard, EasyRanch product — initially focused on Livestock and Poultry. By leveraging AI, robotic IoT sensors, and image analytics, the platform delivers real-time insights, predictive analytics, and intuitive dashboards. This empowers farmers, veterinarians, and agribusinesses to make smarter decisions, optimise resources, and enhance overall productivity.
Looking forward, Western Australia presents a significant opportunity for Innova8s, with its $650M dairy industry, over 2 million cattle, and strong government support for AgTech adoption. WA farmers face labor shortages, rising feed costs, and sustainability pressures, increasing the demand for AI-driven livestock monitoring solutions.
“With Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) backing precision farming and state-funded AgTech initiatives, WA offers a strong market for data-driven solutions. Our IoT-integrated insights align with WA’s carbon-neutral and efficiency goals, making it the perfect launchpad for scaling across Australia’s livestock, dairy and poultry sector,” Sashiko shared.
Through the Perth Landing Pad, Innova8s aims to launch pilot projects, build local partnerships, and create AgTech jobs to support regional growth.
“Perth’s strong agricultural network and tech ecosystem make it an ideal base for our expansion. Partnering with the Landing Pad will allow us to launch pilot projects tailored to Western Australia’s unique challenges, build local partnerships to drive adoption, and create AgTech jobs that support regional growth."
By leveraging the resources and mentorship provided by the program, Innova8s seeks to reduce costs for farmers by 15%, enhance livestock health, and optimise resource utilisation to ensure long-term sustainability in the agricultural sector.
Innova8s envisions a future where farmers across Australia and New Zealand have access to advanced digital tools and AI-driven insights to improve efficiency and profitability. Their long-term goal is to create a resilient, self-sustaining farming ecosystem, preparing farmers for the challenges ahead while maximising productivity and reducing waste.
“Our mission is simple: fuel farmers’ growth, amplify returns, and nullify waste,” concluded Sashiko.
