# Meet the next generation of local innovators: City of Joondalup Pre-Accelerator program cohort announced
By Isabel 22 May 2025
We’re excited to introduce the newest group of founders selected for the 2025 Plus Eight City of Joondalup Pre-Accelerator, a dynamic, six-week program helping local entrepreneurs accelerate their business ideas through expert mentoring, peer support, and strategic guidance.
Delivered by Spacecubed through our flagship Plus Eight program and proudly supported by the City of Joondalup, this pre-accelerator is designed to fuel the growth of early-stage startups, giving them the tools, community, and confidence to take their next big leap.
Over the past few weeks, nine local Joondalup-based founders have worked closely with mentors and advisors to refine their offerings, validate their ideas, and build momentum for the future. Now, they’re gearing up to take the stage at our end-of-program Pitch Night on Wednesday, June 18.
Get to know this year’s cohort below.
**Woofing Wonders** – Paul Brennan & Will Brennan
Crafting healthy, preservative-free dog treats made from locally sourced ingredients to improve canine nutrition and wellbeing.
**Tempo Co** – Rochelle Bacon
Helping service-based business owners reclaim their time by matching them with high-performing offshore VAs, supported by Aussie-led strategy.
**Ellysium Aesthetics** – Carolyn Garduno
A physician-led clinic offering personalised, non-invasive treatments that restore confidence and deliver glowing skin and body results.
**LitFlows** – Joshua Allan Charles Williams
Delivering AI-powered, real-time sales tracking tools to enhance visibility and improve customer experience from click to delivery.
**Darling Ridge** – Joshua Bauer
Empowering businesses to scale with strategic consulting, automation, and tech solutions that streamline operations and reduce stress.
**Comco Talent** – Johan Nel
A specialised talent search firm combining organisational psychology with 14+ years of experience to connect people and purpose.
**The Book Club** – Clare Dodds & Emma Kenworthy
Creating fun, social, community-led book events where readers connect and discover new favourites — one story at a time.
**Concrete Engraving Australia** – Troy Workman, Jamie Wendt & Evie Wendt
Turning plain concrete into custom-designed, eye-catching surfaces using innovative engraving tech for public spaces, logos, and art.
Each founder in this year’s cohort brings something unique to the table, from pet nutrition and AI tools to aesthetics, community events, and advanced tech services. But they all share a common goal: to grow their ideas into thriving businesses that make a real impact.
