Through the [Perth Landing Pad](https://spacecubed.com/programs/landing-pad) program, supported by the City of Perth and the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification, international startups and scaleups gain access to strategic mentoring, local business networks, coworking, events and tailored market-entry support as they explore opportunities in WA. As part of the current Perth Landing Pad cohort, we're excited to spotlight [Eloize](https://www.eloize.io/), an AI-powered business automation company from Gothenburg, Sweden, helping small and medium-sized businesses eliminate repetitive administrative work through practical AI solutions. Founded in 2024 by Scott Henshaw, Eloize works alongside businesses as an AI growth partner, implementing intelligent automation that saves time, improves efficiency and allows business owners to focus on customers, growth and higher-value work. When asked how the business first came to life, Scott explained that the idea stemmed from a common challenge facing founder-led businesses. "Eloize was born in Gothenburg through a venture studio with a simple thesis: founder-led small and medium businesses are buried in admin they shouldn't have to do themselves. We focused on the Nordics first, grew to 30 customers, and built our practice around automations and AI workflows that take routine work off people's plates." While the technology is powerful, Scott says the mission has always been about something much more human. "Our calling is to free up human intelligence from admin so people can do more good with their time. Pick the kids up on time. Spend more hours in front of customers instead of buried in spreadsheets. Improve the happiness score at work, not just the productivity score. Every automation we build is in service of that." Building on its consulting work, Eloize is now launching its first standalone product, [RemindX](https://remindx.io/), a voice-based tool that recovers overdue B2B invoices through calm, human-supervised phone calls. "It's live, and gaining traction in Sweden," Scott shared. "A clean example of the kind of problem we like to solve - unglamorous, painful, and completely solvable with the right approach." Joining Perth Landing Pad marks an important step in Eloize's international growth, providing the opportunity to better understand the Australian market while building relationships across Western Australia's innovation ecosystem. "I've been out of the Australian market long enough that I need to rebuild my network from scratch" Scott explained. "I'm looking for founders in the thick of scaling something right now, investors who back early-stage operators, and peers who'll tell me plainly how the Australian market thinks differently to Europe.” Beyond networking, Scott is also keen to understand how businesses across WA are approaching AI in practice. "I'm trying to understand where WA's SMBs actually sit on the AI adoption curve. Not the headlines - the reality on the ground. That's the only way we build the right product for the market." For Eloize, expanding into Western Australia isn't about reinventing the product, it's about adapting it to suit the way local businesses operate. "WA has a strong base of mid-sized B2B businesses in resources, construction and professional services, exactly the profile RemindX is built for," Scott said. "Expanding here isn't a pivot. It's a translation." That translation goes beyond language, extending to software integrations, payment systems and customer expectations. "Practically, that means localising RemindX properly: the voice persona, the tone, the payment terms logic, and the integrations. The underlying model doesn’t change. The wrapper does."
