We’re excited to announce the Plus Eight Female Founders program, which is set to run in Brisbane this February. Set to run out of The Precinct, located in Fortitude Valley, this 5-week program is tailored for visionary women aiming to elevate their skills as founders and entrepreneurs.

If you envision crafting your own thriving business, this program is your gateway to acquiring indispensable knowledge and building fundamental skills. Participants will delve into vital business concepts and gain insights while forging connections with influential mentors, seasoned investors, and industry-leading advisors.

Throughout the program, participants will engage in a dynamic curriculum covering key areas such as:

  • Business model creation
  • Customer validation and testing
  • Product and prototype development
  • Growth and marketing
  • Developing your pitch
  • Building robust operations and discovering funding sources

With access to a strong support system, participants will establish invaluable connections, expand their professional network, and create opportunities for potential collaborations. Whether you’re in the idea-stage stage of your entrepreneurial journey or are seeking to elevate an existing venture, the Plus Eight Female Founders program is your definitive platform for growth and support, and will help set your business up for success.

We enthusiastically encourage all women who are keen on exploring the innovation landscape and developing their entrepreneurial skills to apply, even if they haven't formulated a business idea yet. Women selected into the program without a specific idea are welcome to join teams and collaborate as co-founders with other participants to work on a business together

This program is supported by the Advance Queensland Initiative.

If you’re looking to apply, the program has a range of both paid positions and scholarship positions available. You can learn more about the program and get started on your application here (applications are open until February 1st, 2024).
