Don’t just take our word for it; these insights are from global venture capitalist and kiteboarder [Bill Tai](https://about.me/billtai).

Here for the OzAPP Awards and [West Tech Fest](http://www.trybooking.com/Booking/BookingEventSummary.aspx?eid=167438), he’s encouraging Perth people to come along for this jam-packed weeklong festival and take a look for themselves.

Kicking off on Friday 4 December with the ‘Night of the Stars Startup Weekend Reunion’ and concluding on Wednesday 9 December with [‘StartupWA Ecosystem Report’](http://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/wa-startup-ecosystem-report-2015-launch-tickets-19736866499) this is a must for those involved in or wanting to learn more about the WA Startup environment.

The [West Tech Fest features on Monday 7 December ](http://www.trybooking.com/Booking/BookingEventSummary.aspx?eid=167438)and features the Ambassador’s Innovation Round Table and OzAPP awards judging.

Register now to see a week of inspiring keynote speakers, interactive workshops, networking events, mentoring sessions, educational workshops.

There are also community events including the kitesurfing MaiTai Global!
