The HBF Activate programme follows three main stages;
Experienced investor and Director of the Founder Institute in Perth, Andrew Hall called upon his 20+ years of experience in growing startups and investing, to help clarify the key steps in the ideation phase of a business.
“We were privileged to have Andrew Hall join us as part of the first HBF Activate masterclass,” said Tom Riordan, Spacecubed’s Programmes and Partnerships Manager.
“Sharing his 20+ years of experience in growing startups and applying the lean methodologies and design thinking to uncovering real customers problems, it was the best way to begin our Design phase (Masterclass phase) on the programme,” Tom continued.
With over 70 attendees at the first masterclass, Andrew explained the lean startup approach, detailing how ideas should aim for the clouds, but get there in small bite size steps.
At the end of the masterclass, with Minimal Viable Product and launching early explained to be benefits on the early startup journey, Andrew Hall set attendees with the following homework;
