Spacecubed's AI Fellowship is a 3-month program supported by Scale Partners and Western Sydney Tech Innovators, based out of the Western Sydney Startup Hub. In September, five founders from the AI Fellowship took the stage to show what they've built over the past three months.

The evening doubled as a celebration for Western Sydney Tech Innovators 2nd anniversary, who have been growing their community from the ground up, right here at the Hub. With more than 100 registrations across WSSH and WSTI's [Meetup](https://www.meetup.com/en-AU/western-sydney-tech-innovators/), the room was full of founders, builders and supporters from across the Western Sydney ecosystem.

The evening opened with an Acknowledgement of Country from WSTI Founder, Lailei Huang paying respect to the Burramattagal people of the Dharug Nation. Lailei then shared the story of WSTI's first two years, before Linda Kim welcomed guests on behalf of Spacecubed.

Each founder had three minutes to pitch, two minutes to demo and five minutes of live Q&A with the audience. Tuki and Munraj presented via pre-recorded pitch and demo, giving the audience a front-row seat to what they'd been building.

From mental health training and construction technology to investment analysis and language learning, the five founders demonstrated just how diverse the applications of AI can be. Here's who pitched on the night:

**Tuki Attuquayefio,**[**PsychReady**](https://psychready.ai)

PsychReady uses AI-powered simulations to help organisations train and assess mental health readiness at scale. Reflecting on his Fellowship experience, Tuki shared the following with us.

"The Spacecubed Fellowship provided the momentum, mentorship, and community we needed to take PsychReady from an ambitious AI simulation prototype to a live product in the hands of customers. Having access to experienced mentors and fellow founders who challenged our assumptions was invaluable for refining our go-to-market and clinical validation strategy. I'd recommend the Fellowship in a heartbeat to any founder looking to turn deep-tech or high-impact ideas into scalable, real-world solutions."

**Peter Shu Nan Xie, Resource.AI**

Developed by QRInno Infrastructure, Resource.AI uses AI to simplify distressed property recovery, combining project data, construction knowledge and compliance requirements into actionable recovery plans. Peter demonstrated its application to a partially completed 42-unit residential development on the Central Coast.

**Munraj Singh,**[**Connie QA**](https://connieqa.com)

Drawing on his background in construction management, Munraj showed how Connie QA uses computer vision to catch defects before they become costly rework, integrated into the systems builders already use, with no new platform to manage. His pitch and demo gave the audience a clear look at the problem he's solving.

**Van Long Do,** [**BlockID**](https://blockid.au/)

Long showed how BlockID.au generates an evidence-based pre-diligence memo and a Startup Value Index from a single pitch deck giving investors a structured view of a startup's evidence, risks and investment readiness. The platform is live, with a first paying customer and two partner organisations already using it. Long reflected on the Fellowship's impact:

"The AI Fellowship helped us turn BlockID.au from an early concept into a focused, market-ready product with a much clearer customer problem and value proposition. Through the program, we strengthened our product strategy, validated key assumptions with real users, and moved toward commercial traction. I would recommend the Fellowship to founders who want to challenge their assumptions, sharpen their product, and turn AI capabilities into something customers will actually use and pay for."

**Farhad Malegam, Parsi Farsi**

Farhad showcased Parsi Farsi, a language-learning app designed to teach Persian as it's naturally spoken, moving beyond traditional textbook learning. Unlike mainstream language-learning platforms such as Duolingo, Parsi Farsi focuses on preserving the language's traditional roots, expressions and cultural richness.

Once the pitches wrapped, the celebrations began. Lailei and the WSTI team came to the front to blow out the birthday cake, marking two years of building a tech community in Western Sydney.

Guests stayed on for food, drinks and networking, catching the founders to ask the questions they didn't get to in Q&A, and making introductions.

A huge congratulations to our five founders for everything they put into the last three months. Thank you to WSTI for co-hosting and for two amazing years, to [Good Things Australia](https://www.linkedin.com/company/good-things-foundation-australia/home/) for sponsoring the WSTI celebration cakes, and to everyone who came along to support.

The Demo Night marked the culmination of three months of learning, experimenting and building, but for these five founders, it's also the beginning of their next chapter and we can't wait to see where their ideas take them next.

*The next AI Fellowship will run in early-2027 at the Western Sydney Startup Hub.* [*Express your interest here for your chance to be a part of the next cohort.*](https://spacecubed.com/programs/ai-fellowship)
