Beginning in early July, eight City of Canning residents will join our esteemed Plus Eight community as they take part in our six week, pre-accelerator program. Teaching participants to build stronger, more resilient businesses as well as teaching them the foundations of being a great founder, the Sprint program is perfect for anyone who is looking to take the next step with their business.
Jodie Millhouse from The Tea Crowd was one of the selected participants and shared that she’s most excited for the opportunity to learn. “I’m looking forward to sharing experiences with local business mentors who have a passion for guiding entrepreneurs.” She shared. Carolyn Warren-Langford from Studio Pyra, said she’s looking to give her business a complete overhaul with a fresh new look that attracts the correct audience.
Following the six week program, each participant will pitch their offerings to a full house of community members and Plus Eight alumni for the chance to win a Golden Ticket directly into our Plus Eight Accelerator Bootcamp in 2022.

The Tea Crowd creates hand blended loose leaf teas from organic leaves, fruits and herbs free from additives and flavourings - only the good stuff!
