The program kicked off on the 30th September, where all the participants had access to RAC mentors and startup experts to help develop a solution that creates a better WA. On the 10th November RAC, in partnership with Perth’s largest entrepreneurial hub Spacecubed, announced the three startups selected to receive $20,000 in seed funding and participation in RAC’s 2016 SeedSpark accelerator program.

The startups joining RAC’s 2016 SeedSpark program are:

Yabble: Online marketplace where parents can discover, book and pay for after-school activities. Course providers can list their businesses on the platform, where they can also manage payments.

Uproute: Mobile app that helps users plan and share their trips. The app documents travel experiences, bookings, photos, videos and reviews, which can be shared with and searched by other travellers based on profile and trip characteristics.

Care Collective: Online disability directory providing families with greater transparency in the search for quality service providers. Support workers can list their skills and availability for free, whilst families can search according to preferences and reviews. CareCollective is a not-for-profit organisation.
